Is changing your gender preference on tinder to "everyone" a viable option to fix your elo?

I was pretty new to tinder and didn't know about the "Elo system" when I first created my account, so I probably fucked up my ranking by swiping right a lot.

I recently changed my gender preference to everyone because I figured getting a lot of likes from men might boost my elo. I did it about an hour ago and already got ~50 likes, probably mostly from men.

Would this actually help my visibility to women? Or does tinder have separate ranking systems for each gender, meaning I could have low elo with women but high elo with men?
