Is charisma a real thing? Or simply a word used to describe attractive people?

I saw a tiktok of prime Paul Newman in this movie and all the comments were like 'wow he was so charismatic why aren't guys today that charismatic?' Obviously what these comments really meant was 'wow he is so facially attractive' lmao. But that begs the question, is 'charisma' something that actually exists and is more easily attainable for good looking people (due to increased confidence, low inhib, validaiton etc.) OR is it just something people think when they look at someone attractive? Is it possible to be a normal NT (not autistic or something) chad but NOT be charismatic? I'm leaning towards thinking charisma is real but just that it's way harder to have if you are a normie, because you can try act as suave and charming as prime alain delon but if you look like a normie, noones gonna give a fuck? Or am I wrong idk lmk.

It’s real. It’s just attractiveness plus good charismatic skills. Obviously no subhuman can be charismatic, but not all attractive people are charismatic.

Charisma is the trait that makes people feel good in your presence and for other guys want to be friends with you, a combination of face and personality. The personality is also expressed through the face. It's possible for a guy to be very good looking but lack charisma. It's also possible for an average or below guy to have high charisma and this helps them get women. The charisma factor is not something you can easily change, it's mostly genetic.

I have a friend this forum would consider a PSL 4, looks very geeky with weak bones, but he has insane charisma and gets lots of girls through social circle. Everyone wants to be friends with him because of his charisma. People just feel good in his presence.

Charisma is absolutely real. It's just being a good talker and knowing what people want to hear, which is a skill. Ugly guys can be charismatic too, but it is definitely easier when youre good looking.

Me too. I have a friend who probably could be facially HTN or Chadlite, but he's always been fat and is 5'6. He's insanely charismatic. Voted most popular in high school. Fucked all the hottest girls. Biggest slayer I've ever known. We had a falling out and I hated him for a while, but whenever he was around I still preferred talking to him over other people. It's like he has an extremely high social IQ. He just makes everyone else seem dull and unimportant in comparison. Always seems to have something going on that other people don't. It's hard to explain because it's something you pick up on immediately. My dad is actually the same way. Young women in the city know who my dad is because he's such a character. Like my dad being my dad increases my social value. Unfortunately, I'm exactly like my autistic mom.

Yes but it only matters once you pass a certain looks threshold step 1 is become as attractive as possible then once women see you as a fellow human being then you can start worrying about being charismatic which isn’t hard at all btw.
