Is college even worth it?

I'm a 3rd year computer science major and I only have 1 year left till graduating after this semester. Idk if I even want to do this career, working in an open office tech place like this is nightmare fuel for me.

Facebook office plan 1

I don't even care about money beyond the bare necessities and I don't want kids or marriage since modern women are whores and my kids will probably be trannies. Kids are not needed for farm labor anymore, they are essentially luxury pets in 2023.

My thinking is that if I dropout I can just get a security guard nightshift job and play video games and browse forums all night and make $20 an hour while doing it. I'd much rather do that then sit in a massive anxiety inducing open office and do mentally demanding tasks for 8 hours per day.

Thoughts on college careermaxxing to get a high-stress high-pay job vs getting an easy brainless NEET job like security?

Yeah that's what I've been thinking. Objectively why do I need a high stress $100,000 a year programming job when a $30,000 a year security guard job covers my rent, utilities, hobbies, etc.

Is there any richcels here who can explain what is the point of moneymaxxing beyond basic necessities :feelshehe:

College is only worth it for the experience (social circle partying and girls) if you’re NT join a frat and live it up and that experience itself is worth all the money and debt you may be in. I didn’t go to a 4 year out of college and I regret it constantly, having an ideal college experience of slaying and partying is priceless. If you’re not gonna party or you don’t want to and you’re just going for the career finding an apprenticeship or going to trade school is much more affordable and you can be around a bunch of blue collar dudes you can shoot the shit with all day as opposed to being around a bunch of uptight feminists and soy faggots in some white collar job.

The NEET jobs you mention are more depressing, stick with your studies for a few more years and get an ez af job in a lazy company or something, that's my plan after I graduate

It's easy, low stress, low cortisol job. Programming is high stress, high cortisol, your surrounded by leftists, fob pajeets, trannies, redditors, etc.

Also with modern open office plans you don't even get a cubicle.

Depends on the company right? You could just work a chill boomer company where you pretend to do work for six figures

I'm not sure. I think you still need to put in mentally demanding work everyday. And you constantly need to learn new programming languages and systems so you can never just chill because the field is always evolving.

I want a braindead job where I can just work on autopilot and watch movies, tv, sleep, game, etc and security seems based for that.

I heard that all you do is copy paste code from stack exchange and make up busywork to placate managers.

Since you have programming background it wouldn’t be hard to get a easy IT job.

tech support, systems admin, network engineer, cloud architect/engineer are all jobs where you work mostly by yourself. Most of these jobs are remote esp cloud security and the barrier to entry for programmers is extremely easy.

Basically people that wanted tech jobs but found programming hard go for IT roles. So with your degree you would actually be over qualified and they would be rolling the red carpet knowing someone with your background wants to stoop low and do IT work

Those jobs will drain your soul bro, it's better to do something that's mentally challenging than something that's easy as shit and requires no thinking.

I found this out last year. Now I'm set on studycelling.

At that point I would just finish and get your degree next year. Brutal to study for 3 years then drop out. It would be different if you were a 1st year student

Might as well get your degree, then after you graduate, what you decide to do after is your choice

What did you do that was so draining?

Bro, no. You wanna know what the best part of CS jobs is? It allows you to work remote. You just have to stay within the country. Even if you take a pay cut honestly, literally just live in a cheap area and rot indoors all day not having to deal with people while making good money from CS

I’m actually going to college this year for computer science. Interesting to see another fellow anti-natalist, especially since you’re Muhajir curry. Mirin. I would prefer a job like the one you described, it would be ideal. If you land a job like that, make sure they hire me, too.

Interesting, I never looked into IT thanks for the tip.

Would I need to get certs or would the bachelor's degree in computer science be enough?

Very basic certs like A+ and network+, but these are extremely easy and even shaniquas get them regularly.

Everything else is either taught on the job while you get paid or isn’t necessary

I'd rather kms than be a tradie manual labor subhuman. The risk of injury is high and doing labor for 8 hours a day is hell on earth.
