Is comedian a good career?

I'm not saying you become the next Chappelle, but earning enough money to provide for yourself. Average stand-up comedian in the U.S. makes 50k per year (the median do about the same).

I feel like it's the best way to cope with life, make jokes for a living until you die. And it's better than all the stuff with CS, finance, etc. You can still travel and have a social life outside your job. And statusmaxx if you become successful.
