Summer in 2025
It was pretty peaceful going to school walking or going anywhere in general, ambulance/police sirens would rarely be heard.

Now (2026)
But this time, I'm seeing cars crash, road rage, theft alerts, murder alerts, aggressive people shouting on the street, people covered in hoodies at corners near Planet Fitness staring while I rack my bike, teens hogging machines and flexing in front of the mirror trying to " framemog " people.

With the rise of BP I'm seeing a ridiculous amount of videos from people making fun of others, with 6 million likes and shares either making fun of the persons face or for something. (Some examples)

1773371062840
1773371071937

its very little examples theres more but man this world sucks so much, nowhere is safe to be around especially if you have a family, siblings, or loved ones with you.

Real, I feel like the taller you are/higher dimorphism the less rates of life-threat someone faces

there should be a study or statistic showing smth even if obvious

Crime was lower in brazil in 2025 compared to 2024

But we still have homicide rates of warzones :PepeUltraRage:

You could have easily looked it up and seen that crime rates are trending down

Yup I did and know, but it just feels like a lie from my experience lately seeing constant crime

maybe its related to politics, war, people being more stressed/poverty, etc

Might be because people are overall more hostile and individualistic post pandemic. A lot of social connections fell apart and stuff

And in pandemic crime had a minor spike, but its back to trending down
