Is DIY fat dissolver actually worth it when I'm 18 and can just go to a clinic?

Research makes it out to say that DIY fat dissolver can easily cause cysts under the skin, infection, and permanent damage. I don't care about health sides just perma damaging my face. I don't know if this is just some agenda google is trying to push because they want private clinics to capitalize instead of just everyone doing DIY aqua or if its actually pretty easy to cause permanent damage. There is even a clinic in my town that does fat dissolving injections for the face, I'm just curious why many people prefer to go down the DIY route, is it simply just to avoid the expenses?
