is diy mole removal optimal or should I get it removed by a professional

I’ve been insecure about this mole my whole life every time I go out I make sure that people see the side of my face that doesn’t have the mole im genuinely tired of this and I want this mole long gone. I’ve been considering doing a diy removal but im unsure if its worth it there’s a lot of risk on the other hand I can get it removed professionally but my parents wont allow it so I have to wait until im 18 im currently 15

not a skin tag it’s just a regular mole it doesn’t seem like much but im still very insecure about it

i wouldnt recomend dyi the scarring and infection risk isnt worth it
