the angle of the ramus on it's own is close enough near it although it is not, the rest of the jaw isn't, his jaw slopes after the gonial angle.
So in ur opinion who isn t downward grown? Can u give an example of an actor/model, idk a person?

I have no idea what you're saying but the gonial angle on that guy is atleast 115° while matt lemond has genuine 90°. Big difference.

@Dr. Bruh

lets say they had the same ramus angle but the angle of the mandible was 90 degrees in frankfurt plane
would these 2 be considered down grown?
is that even possible?

Sou you're telling me this is 90° GONIAL ANGLE?

I believe the thing is you and @Arborist have different definitions of downward growth. You say downward growth is anything above 90 gonial angle. Arborist says, correct me if I’m wrong, but the ramus being anything other than vertical is downward growth ie. sloped ramus, and that the slope of the jaw after the ramus isn’t indicative of downward growth. The real discussion needs to be which definition is right and why that definition is right

as long as the angle of your ramus is nearing 90 you aren't down-grown in my opinion, as it doesn't really affect the structural integrity of your jaw.

people who are down-grown are either recessed in terms of the mandibular depth of the ramus or the gonial point of it, that creates the downwards sweep that e-celebs like hacker have.

Was in reference to the photo quality, but your pic isn’t the best to gauge from. Do you have a clearer on from side profile?

this is more closely to the mirror

this is like 1 meter away from mirror
are these pics good? @Sanguinius @Arborist
what s ur opinion?

you send me several in dms, I looked at those instead since the one you posted was shit.

your jaw is down-angled at the ramus, but you have good ramus depth, so it doesn't look bad, the kind of recession that looks fucked up is usually related to the depth.

Tbh I’m not sure but females having better facial development could be explained by them having better posture.

I mean that his jaw doesn't have a downwards protrusion until after the ramus, this kind of growth is genetic rather than recession.

Downward grown by both the definitions being used in this thread, but of minimal effect imo. Though your jaw seems narrow
Indeed, my cheekbones are wider than my jaw but maybe it s because i m fat as i have 20bf% and also I have bogdanov cheekbones tbh combined with babyfat my jaw only looks aesthetic from the 3/4 and from the front is bloated as i have alot of buccal fat and fat.
Will it improved if i cut to 10% or it would look shit since my jaw is narrow but longer?

What’s your explanation for females having better posture?

Imo slim chicks with small tits have better craniofacial growth than big tits overweight chicks because their tits doesn t slouch them as u find women cry about their tits make them slouched and back hurting. Just a theory.

What about this guy @Arborist ? While having extreme ramus depth it is also significantly sloped, yet this guy is often used as the example of extreme forward growth. Would you classify this guy as downgrown?

@Dr. Bruh would you classify him as downgrown too? Far from 90 degree gonial angle

High prenatal T, genetics, ideal environment development/habits… but most importantly, bonesmashing

No it's cope. His ramus angle isn't even 90° and he is downgrown. It's also impossible to have 90° ramus angle without 90° gonial angle otherwise your tmj would be displaced.

This is 90° gonial angle.
Looks worse tbh

Generally anything over 90.

Yeah your obsession with 90 degree gonial angle which isn’t even possible makes no sense when we consider the fact when you compare their midfaces and their gonial angles.
