Is economics a good major?

I will start uni in a year at probably a semi-decent school but will probably transfer, and I need opinions on major. As long as I'll end up with a stable job I'll be fine, and I'm not a STEM type of guy.

I was thinking of getting into economics. Do any economics/business/finance majors know how it's like? Is it a hard major? Should I watch out for anything?

an economics degree is not an education but more a certificate for the right to work. you will have to know something or someone already to make that degree useful
