this individual has a 0.40 es ratio "death tier". his ESR is the same as marko jaric, but despite this, his eyes dont look close set?
I can find many more examples of people with "Death tier" ES ratios such as theo james, zayn malik, ryan reynolds, chase crawford, chris hemsworth, etc. but many people refer to ES ratio as being the single most important measurement, as well as having 1:1 midface ratios, but more often than not, it seems most conventionally attractive men have smaller IPD and longer mid faces (but not horse tier of course). why is this? is ESR not the best way to measure eye spacing? is it more important to have a long skull to counteract wide byzygomatic width, which is why many people with closer set eyes who have longer midface ratios still look good, despite their face being "too wide" compared to there eyes according to this forumn? ian somerhalder is the main example, he has a long midface and 0.42 ESR, but he looks good, and would likely look worse with a wider IPD (despite that improving his midface and ESR ratio)
