this individual has a 0.40 es ratio "death tier". his ESR is the same as marko jaric, but despite this, his eyes dont look close set?

I can find many more examples of people with "Death tier" ES ratios such as theo james, zayn malik, ryan reynolds, chase crawford, chris hemsworth, etc. but many people refer to ES ratio as being the single most important measurement, as well as having 1:1 midface ratios, but more often than not, it seems most conventionally attractive men have smaller IPD and longer mid faces (but not horse tier of course). why is this? is ESR not the best way to measure eye spacing? is it more important to have a long skull to counteract wide byzygomatic width, which is why many people with closer set eyes who have longer midface ratios still look good, despite their face being "too wide" compared to there eyes according to this forumn? ian somerhalder is the main example, he has a long midface and 0.42 ESR, but he looks good, and would likely look worse with a wider IPD (despite that improving his midface and ESR ratio)

You can't say ES ratio doesn't matter because a guy who has nearly perfect everything else has a bad one. Even still, it looks kinda retarded

that guy was just a visual example, but there are many people (somerhalder, hemsworth, etc, etc. ) who have "death tier" ratios, my point is more that ES ratio isnt really a good measure of eye spacing, as you can have wide set looking eyes and still have a short ES ratio (such as barret). my point is that i dont see how it gets its name as the most important ratio, when things like chin philtrum, midface, are more important, and much harder to fraud (haircut can fraud too wide face easily)

he looks terrifying lol. Anways i would never call a single ratio is the "most important" out of them all since its always just accounting for 2 variables at a time. If you wanna judge an area of the face you have too account for more than one single ratio.
I think when people call esr important because it being consisting of your orbitals which is the most hardest to fix.

It is a huge falio tbh
But it should be used with OEAT and MFR to take things into consideration
If 2 of the 3 ratios are fine then its fine
