Is expanding your upper palate with an expander result in wider lips?

Yeah, it usually does.

Mouth width is usually proportional to your intercanine width.

And MARPE increases your intercanine width.

So theoretically, MARPE should increase your mouth width.

I'm assuming by upper palate expander you mean MARPE. idk if ur doin sm else for your palate though.

My lower and upper palate are extremely bad due to bad nutrition during my early childhood I guess. And even though my cheekbones are projected, my bad teeth still make my face look way worse than it should be. So yeah, I'll have to do braces and MARPE soon.
