Is faceiq labs a scam?

faceiq labs seems legit the way he talks about it, but I’ve seen a couple people call it a scam. All of the metrics are real, but they look exactly like the ones from another face rating app. A lot of the text in faceiq labs is word for word the same as another app. Could just be because he’s still developing it, but overall pretty weird.
