Hey i was wondering if the basic principals behind bone-smashing and lean is law could both he obtained through “fight-maxxing”(practicing fighting mma and wrestling) because your getting hit in the face a lot and you have to be fit in order to be a viable fighter, if this is delusional please be honest

it gives deviated septum and cauliflower ears regardless
i grappled since 6yo but will stop when i get my hardmax done, i guess the benefits are more psychological than lookswise
highly recommend if you are doing more for pure enjoyment than discipline

Thank You for the advice, i will probably do jaw surgery and retire from wrestling, i don’t do recreational i just wrestle people at parties but i will keep your advice in mind

the bonesmashing part is real but not as effective as just hitting your face manually
it gives mostly bruises and cuts, sometimes full blown hits, but the surfaces vary such as a punch, knee, shoulder, head to head and etc

I don't think wrestling fulfills that function of building bone because there are practically no strikes. Besides, to notice changes you would have to train constantly for a long time, and you can only achieve that if you really love the sport.
