Gl people will usually still look good in front of a camera or we can identify when a good looking person is under a distorted lense vs. an unattractive person under a distorted lense

No, everyone is self conscious when they see theie flipped image, its related to the self/ego, your mind goes nuts because you can point out asymmetries extremely well compared to other people.

Thats why if you post a pic of you to someone for rating, it would be the same if its mirrored or not

it would be distorted from two angles, the camera, then the mirror. I always look chad in that view though, so i use pics from that because i dont need filter

No, but it should give you a pretty good idea of what you look like. Like the others said, flipped you is the true, raw, and unfiltered you. Unfortunately I got so used to mirrors and front cameras that the sight of flipped pictures made me horrified and really unclear with my self-perception jfl.

If you want an irrefutable image to what you look like to others, stand in front of a mirror, get another mirror (I use a small, hand-held one) and look into the latter. Two mirrors would flip your perception and it would show you precisely what the mirror shows you but flipped. Might be a little hard to look directly so you won't be able to get a full front view but it'll be the closest thing to reality.

asymmetry makes people look bad in photos but its barely visible irl or in videos.

symmetry is obviously important when it comes to looks but being asymmetrical isnt a death sentence. plenty of gl asymmetrical people out there
