depends where your shortcomings fall, albeit miss-use of in-person communication, both through words and body language - or in a more mental handicap.

If you struggle to function in conversation, prolonged exposure therapy to meaningless conversations will help develop a better understanding - and social resilience.

However, if you're struggling with an understanding on how to function mentally, there are many ways to initially cope without in-depth understanding of social/peer neuance. I belive if you fall in this category, you're likely deprived of any intrinsic validation - whereby you act on impulse to get attention at almost every opportunity present.
