is getting braces a good idea?

Is it okay to get braces without extractions? Since if they extract your teeth you'll recess, what if they don't? And whats better for overall looks, marpe or braces? Should I just get expanders? Will those fix teeth too?

marpe will fix crowding and a narrow palate if that's your issue
