Chin filler costs around $600-$1100. Compared to a permanent surgery.

If I like the look, I could invest in a life-lasting surgery like genioplasty, improving the lower thirds, just testing with filler first.

Is there any downsides? Or people dissolve it before proceding with it?

I don't wanna be risky and inject it on myself but it'll be the first time I'm adding any filler etc

appreciate advice

good question someone tag me when someone answers

Filler isn't the same as genioplasty or an implant

You're not gonna get contour or shape and you can't achieve any vertical height

Sure you can try it out but you can't do that with Radiesse as it's permanent and can't be dissolved which leaves you with hyaluronic acid fillers - I think Volux should be fine but be aware of migration risk due to HA filler

yo can a high cut bsso spread my masseters down, decreasing the volume of where it was.

I cannot find any literature on how to fix high set masseters pls help me out

True af I've seen before and afters and done some research with the differences (not gonna post here bc I'm not sure if its ok to post or not)

I still wanna get it, so I can look decent while I save up for a genioplasty since fillers are temporary but I'm scared there still might be soft tissue residue or something ending up asymmetrical

Didn't know that also, tysm :feelsyay:

Just Botox them if you wanna decrease the volume

Define high cut - Trauner Obwegeser?

Edit: there is no such thing as high set or low set masseter this is some tiktok bullshit

The only difference is associated with growth patterns

whatever gets it closest to the masseter, so the muscle moves down/ forward along with the advancement. Might sound like bs, im just quoting whatever chatgpt spew out.

Im planning for malar, so can it theoretcally help contour it?

wait wtf it does, it is diagnosed a lot later when it fades tho, crazy how its not mentioned often when researching it at first

if it leads to bone loss and creating concavities making the chin even MORE recessed its like whats the point damn :feelswhy:

id mark u as solution if I could thats actually terrible

it seems the only way out of this seems like true surgery now

yeah, I thought of fillers into my chin too, but they have pretty bad ROI compared to the surgery. also don't go for implants, only actual genio

Yeah 35.9% is way too much of a risk ngl even in 95 patients chin filler is not the move

It's believed the main cause is also because of the hyaluronic acid movement in the bone tissue connected with the muscle movements, as someone that cheekbites or whatever i'd be cooked

If there's ways to moneymaxx there's no issues with just going and getting surgery I'll avoid these ngl
