yeah having more thin cheeks is all about water intake, salt intake, potassium intake, fat, etc

and methods like bananas and 4 liters of water daily and diuretic can work but its all cope.

is there anything that can actually work?

i dont believe anything that @pneumocystosis says since his his bone structure is 100% the reason he has hollow cheeks

i also think that if you have higher t levels you have a higher chance of having hallow cheeks since more sexual dimorphism

It's pure bone structure. Only thing you can do is get implants/ fillers or lose weight.

Entirely dependant on your cheekbone size. No cheekbones, no hollow cheeks. It is as simple as that.

It's a mixture of underlying bone structure, skin tissue, fat deposits, and body fat percentage. Like most things, there's not one attributable cause. There are some very elaborate threads on the topic on the forum. Maybe you can find those.
