Been on 20mg/day Accutane for about 1 year and made massive progress, but been feeling like my progress has slowed down recently, and I haven't seen much improvement in my skin. Thought about topical GHK-Cu after reading a peptide guide on here. I also thought about taking double my Accutane (so 40mg/day) without telling my dermatologist cus she would probably say no anyway, but I'm not sure that would really help. You should probably know that I have 0 experience with any peptides, and I'm still pretty skeptical about them (scared of side effects mostly).

Any advice on GHK-Cu, and maybe if I should take it with something else? Also, what is a trustworthy vendor to get peptides in Germany?

Doubling the dose now, towards the end of the treatment, will shorten the time remaining to reach the total cumulative target. The downside here is that 40 mg/day hinders healing, as isotretinoin inhibits collagenase enzyme activity and alters fibroblast behavior. All of this could even promote the formation of atrophic scars.

GHK-Cu could indeed be a good option; I would also add topical 2% niacinamide and perhaps tretinoin after Accutane.

well if ur progress has slowed down then up the dosage

dont get started with GHK-CU its an overpriced shitty peptide, which doesnt do anything for acne lol

I think I would happily trade scars (which are inevitable for me anyway) if that meant I could have clear skin quicker. I'm not sure if I'm at the end of my Accutane treatment, btw, since I still have pretty bad acne/redness.

I believe that when he suggested GHK-Cu, the goal wasn't to fight acne, but rather to address the scarring.
