From the evidence I have seen most men do not like red hair or the ginger phenotype. However there is a small amount of men who are particularly attracted to it, which is probably why they manage to keep from being bred out of existence even though they have a rare and difficulty expressed phenotype, because I think both parents need to have the recessive gene for that hair color. However women do not like red hair on men at all, nor the ginger phenotype.
