don't get me wrong, i'm religious myself, there is probably divine wisdom behind creating unattractive people and aesthetically pleasing human beings, but isn't it somewhat unjust ? ugly individuals are often treated with contempt, deprived of basic human decency for something largely beyond their control, which can drive them to become bitter or morally corrupted, committing countless transgressions, while the others tend to develop into kind and virtuous beings simply because they were cherished merely for existing, i know it doesn’t always work that way, but i’m speaking generally because theoretically it does unfold like that, or am i mistaken ?

God is the overseer and director of this grand film called “existence”. Existence itself wouldn’t even exist if it weren’t for God. God exists outside of this construct of time and space. We cannot understand how it even works. We only can know what we are given which is the time we are familiar with — going in a straight line.

The potter does what he wants with his clay. The clay wouldn’t have even existed if not for the potter. The potter didn’t have to make it, but he did. And what the potter does with said clay is completely up to him. It just so happens to be that the clay is sentient.

This idea is actually covered quite directly within the bible. You have possibly read it or heart of it already, but I would urge you to take a look at the book of Job. Job is a farmer who is perfectly upstanding and good. But God allows him to experience many great tragedies. It seems certainly unfair to us, we might even cry out, 'Deus, Deus Meus!''. But I tell you, He is far beyond your understanding as He is mine, and His goodness, justice and wisdom are outside of what we understand as limited beings who have to bridge the gaps in our knowledge with assumptions on what is fair. I understand however that 'all part of His plan' is an unsatisfying answer. So consider yourself to be a slave to Him who is treated well (this is why people think the bible talks about how to treat slaves, it describes how God treats us, who are His slaves, well), a being who is subject. We are not the centre of it all. Humans have the tendency to take a view with themselves at the centre, but holistically we are centred on God.
For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will
Ephesians 1:4-5
God chooses to save us because He wants to. What we deserve is actually all the bad things that could happen, including any issues you might describe. But He gave Himself up to pay that price. When the Kingdom of God is upon us, you will shed this body and there will be no longer beauty nor a lack of it.
I would also challenge that the most attractive people are the most good because of it. I think most people here have experienced that those who look better dont have to have as good of a personality and so are often worse, especially women. The most beautiful probably not, but everyone in high school had those girls who were 'hot' and they were always the meanest people. Whereas less attractive women are often more caring for others. Now, these days I do think that things have somewhat changed, I believe this to be a work of the devil, in the fact that people as a whole are becoming less good and that everyone thinks they are hot shit so you have fat ugly bitchy women everywhere. Unfortunately the more attractive but not actually good looking people are more gossipy and like to talk shit behind your back while being nice to your face. Its an evil world we live in. So, be not of this world! Go out and spread the good news of the Lord brother.
