Is going to see a doctor for mental illness worth it?

I have fairly bad social anxiety and BDD.

How useful are doctors? What would I actually gain from seeing a doctor would they help me or would it just be a waste of time?
 
The only thing that will cure your illnesses is to slit your throat and choke on your own blood like a dead autistic raped whore

They will give you new copes so you will feel better for a while. But everything will go back eventually.

Unless you got some real brain damage, the truth about your mental illness is that everybody is feeling the same, they just hide their feelings better so you think you are suffering alone.

It's a cliché in today's society to complain that almost everybody is a soulless NPC while only you feel the pain. In fact, the random guy on the street that smiled at you today was just thinking the same thing about you and will go to 4chan to rant as well.

So just bite your lips and learn to suffer. You are not that special. It is just a secret competition to know who will crumble first to feel good about yourselves. You should think about why so many people are into charity and the leftists always want to fight for the "weak", "poor" and "oppressed" ....

The Germans have a very nice word "Schadenfreude", meaning enjoy seeing other people suffering. That's what happiness truly means.

anxiety meds are a meme 90% of the time u have anxiety, there is an underlying cause figure it out and work on it. In the mean time learn to meditate. Ive been through the lowest of lows with anxiety and have come out of it (im talking DP/DR, daily panic attacks, etc) You can get out of it

How do you figure out an underlying cause of something that doesn't stop? The anxious feeling is something I have to deal with from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to seep and it's been this way for close to a decade now. You'd think I'd become numb to it :feelsuhh:

shit like that is most likely a medical condition unless you went through severe trauma or some shit

Surprisingly I didn't, the closest thing was teasing by both guys and girls but that rarely involved height.
