I know this has been asked a lot but is it genuinely worth it? I’ve applied to study business degrees ie international management and Economics, is it worth it to go i’ll be getting into over 60k debt and with the new plan I’d have to pay it for 40 years with interest and the money comes out of your paycheque automatically, and there is no gurantee i’ll earn a high salary 80k+ let alone even get a job to make it worth the debt? Is it worth it would it be better to just learn a trade and make a living and maybe start a business after? What’s the way to go?

it depends, but doing a trade is overrated. Uk grads earn more on avg significantly but the current job market is different and hard. If you are doing an high quality degree I recommend it much more, but if your not sure and can find a good apprenticeship or other opportunities then it may be worth it . However having a degree always means you will be able to get into jobs easier in the future and have it on you when u need it

Its either paying back loan and getting decent money after or working on construction or amazon warehouse from 6 am to 6 pm, getting treated like shit, never owning your own crib and slaving away for 10 bucks an hour for rest of your pathetic life, you choose nigga
