Muscles won't get so big that they make you look shorter and you won't get too bulky unless you're on 50 different steroids man
If you're natural you're gonna be training hard for years for maximum hypertrophy and you won't get to the point that "muscles make you look shorter"

It honestly helps a lot a lot of ppl say it’s cope if your short. But I’m 5’7 and my body almost saves. Since I don’t have the height girls usually compliment my arms and wide shoulders.

Really depends. If your bones are fucked don't even try Being short + bad frame is one of the biggest failos of all time. Your age is also important aswell as growth plates. If your young/your growth plates are still open, working out too much will spike your cortisol and prevent your bones from growing
