Recently I have not used any skin care products because I thought they made me breakout, now im breaking out again only in this one part of my face. Ik having good skin is mostly about diet and my diet is fine, almost never eat any processed food and stick to mostly simple carbs and shit. I feel like I look worse when I have a skin care routine bc my features look softer, basically what im asking is does using a cleanser+moisturizer make you look worse.

if you have naturally oily skin, dont use a moisturizer. A retinoid is good to have, as well as sunscreen. like just tweak ur skincare until it works, maybe youre applying too much.
