  • Indication: Assessment of growth plate closure

Radiographic Findings
  • Chronological Age: 17 years, 3 months
  • Bone Age Estimate: Closest to 18 years (based on male standards of Greulich and Pyle)
  • Statistical Deviations: One standard deviation for this age is 13.1 months; two standard deviations is 26.1 months
  • Skeletal Maturity Evaluation: Bone age is concordant with chronological age
  • Growth Plate Status: Remaining visualized physes are fused; distal radial and ulnar physes are nearly fused
  • Bone Density & Structure: Osseous mineralization is normal; no acute osseous findings present
