Is HGH capable of making you taller than your genetic potential, or only helps you getting there?

I heard HGH only makes you as tall as youre supposed to be depending on genetics, but doesnt make you taller than what your genetics prescribe, and if i started taking it, it would just be a waste of money since it wouldn't help me grow taller... 17 years old rn, can someone with experience respond.

No, it will only unlock the best you could get, let's say a guy at 16 is 175 cm and barely grew the last year, if he took HGH (parents for example 168 mom and 170 dad) he could at best unlock for example his grandpa's height of 180 cm, but if someone in the genetics didn't have 180 cm minimum, you taking hgh won't make you above it

HGH is just gonna make you taller if your growth palates are still open, so there’s a genetic limitation. You should get a radiography to check it, if not you are gonna waste a lot of money
