Let's say it's bullshit. What's the alternative? LDAR and accept all shortcomings? Just go into a nihilistic perspective and be depressed your whole life?

Or, assume that it's not bullshit. Instead see everything as challenges you have to overtcome, maintain a positive view(or try to), try not to get too caught in the shitty things in this life, because we are all going to die.

Which one do you think is the best for YOUR life? Do you see what I'm trying to say? Two sides of the same coin

i see, so basically it’s either give in to the shit life throws at you or try to push through and improve yourself

yeah dude, you know what the problem is?

most people here, or in life generally, whenever something bad happens to them, they just give up and say shit like ''oh man its rigged, I won't have to do anything because its over'', yeah its true sometimes life gives us shitty cards but at the end of the day this is the only life you have. you have to fight it, try to make things better

Now say this, lets say you tried EVERYTHING to get better, you work your ass of but your still not making money, no luck with women despite looksmaxing/learning game, still shit social skills even tho you talk to people, your simply not improving no matter what you do,THEN you can give up.

Here's the thing: There is not a single person that will not get better at what they are doing with continuous effort, it's just impossible unless you are an extreme outlier. and most people are not(it's called normal/avg for a reason). do you see my point?

yeah i see your point, i get what you’re saying about most people giving up too early. life does deal shitty hands sometimes and a lot of people just fold instead of putting in work. i agree that effort is necessary and that the baseline is trying to improve, pushing yourself, and not settling into excuses.

at the same time, there’s reality you can’t ignore even if you grind, looksmax, learn game, socialize, some people literally hit ceilings no matter how much they try. genetics, luck, timing, circumstances, social dynamics they all play a role bro. continuous effort improves most things, sure, but it doesn’t magically make everyone elite in every metric. knowing that line between effort and reality is what separates rational strategy from pointless stress.

Mental self improvement is incredibly high ROI if done correctly but its not the shit normies or redpillers are speaking about

I’m making a comprehensive thread on this ill tag you when its done if you want
It pertains to using the same kind of tactics employed by psyops, religions/cults and the elite to rewire your brain to mould your identity freely to attain/delete traits at your will its deep stuff

i get the idea of mental frameworks having high ROI, i’m just cautious about anything framed as psyops or cult tactics

curious to read it though, tag me and i’ll check it out

They wouldn’t use it if it didn’t work

Since its a matter of crafting your rituals/strategy for your own goals its safer because its not someone else trying to manipulate you for their own ends, you are doing it to yourself in a structured manner

Will do when its done i’ll probably have it done in a few hours going to the gym first

i get why it works, just cautious about overdoing it

self directed makes more sense though

Most people never improve so much that they hit their ceiling. That's really all what it comes down to
