Like the other replies said its mostly genetics but theres hope since I was in similar position as you. my dad is around 5’6, mom 5’3 and I somehow ended up growing to 5’10 (I am 18) but growing up i was a fat fuck im talking like 5k cals a day during my early to late teen years so go on calorie surplus but try and stay active so u dont end up a fatty like me

Im not saying everyone will get 4inches+ taller past 16 because i know few guys who did it. He can be taller? Yes, is not impossible or extremly rare to get at least 1-2 inches taller in your teens
