Is imdo ideal when you're over 25?

I'm under 30, and i checked the prices for imdo in Mexico and they're like 12k, so i wanna know if it's ideal to get imdo? Any knowers??

I think it will always be ideal as long as your GH levels are high enough so that the regrowth period is not super long. Its ideal because it leaves no metal plates stuck in your face, which gets rid of that confounding factor for mewing.

Honestly this is lifefuel, and even hearing that the surgery is not that expensive gives me hope but I need to moneymax asap, but by the time i will get the surgery i might be 28, fuck.

I have heard from other users that some of the surgeons stop recommending it after 22. But imo there is no reason it cannot be done past 25. On the money front, just take out a loan???

No you can't do bimax after IMDO but you shouldn't need to because IMDO advances the mandible and you can get a Lefort 1 with your IMDO for advancement of the Maxilla. You can get it done in Australia, New Zealand or Mexico I'm pretty sure, the best doc is the australian one since he essentially invented the surgery but he charges insane prices for foreigners so unless you're an Australian Citizen you shouldn't even bother with him the New Zealand prices are more reasonable they're in the 10-20k range.

also you might be confusing IMDO and Distraction osteogenesis, if you're talking about getting distraction osteogenesis done then I'm pretty sure you can still get it done, I'm not entirely sure though because the plates that are installed during bimax might not allow you to install the distraction devices.

IMDO is better imo because it allows for greater advancement and facilitates new jaw bone growth, the issue with it is it's somewhat difficult to find a provider for it if you're living in the US. The best surgeon for it Paul Coceancig(pretty sure he invented the surgery) but he charges like 60k for foreigners which is insane, there's a surgeon in New Zealand who offers it for 20k and one in mexico as well.

I don't have an overbite but my palate is narrow and I'm skeletally recessed with crowded teeth, so I need a Lefort 1 with CCW and advancement of the mandible, I want to get IMDO because for me to get bimax I would need to get extractions and I've heard too many horror stories about that shit.

thanks for the information g, i don’t think i need bimax cause my maxilla is fine but it’s just the upper maxilla lacks projection so i’m planning to get infra implants potentially as welll. My main problem is overbite/recessed mandible and narrow palate which i wanted to fix with mse or sarp

I'm pretty sure CCW + BSSO helps with long midface the rotation on your maxilla helps offset downward growth which contributes to a long midface and advances it forward creating forward growth, as for the doc in mexico I only know one and I haven't contacted him yet.
I've been told that the Mexican doctor will perform the surgery but you can get the surgery plans done by Paul Coceancig so I plan on consulting with him first and getting a plan and seeing if the movements I want are possible.
