Introversion alone is neutral. There are strong and silent alphas who do have friend groups and women. They just arent unnaturally outgoing, like a coffee fiend

could be both depends on the person.

some people are introverted because they are shy and don't know how to socialize, I don't if that's necessarily feminine but it's "beta" and obviously a negative thing.
some people are introverted because they choose to, but they can be extroverted when needed

females have lower iq on average. lower iq = less overthinking, less overthinking = more openness = more extraversion

It's just one study though tbh and it showed a small difference. I'm too tired to keep researching but it could honestly go either way.

One thing I know for sure is that women tend to have better social skills and social awareness. Pretty much from the day theyr're born. Female infants develop faster in that regard and continue doing so throughout childhood + adolescence.

masculine. i think from an evolutionary perspective since women are the weaker sex they tended to rely on socializing for their survival, whearas men of the past could afford to be unsocial since he could provide for himself

This is partly why men get diagnosed with autism more frequently. Girls learn to 'disguise' their symptoms very well and mimic NT girls' behaviour early on in childhood.

In the modern day it’s masculine. In history I doubt, men were the ones hunting and working whilst the women looked after the kids… does that in theory make them more introverted? Maybe

Depends on your looks, everything is perceived according to how you look

Is it that women are more extraverted or is it that they're much more socially encouraged and supported than men? Girls have life handed to them, that's not the case for most guys

neither, as it is largely determined by your genetics.
However, women tend to have better social skills, and speak more words than men.
There is a theory that women depended much more on village help, and would die much faster if expelled, whereas a man could survive alone much longer, so women have developed better social skills and need more validation.
There is also the fact that shy or introverted women have much better social lives than introverted and even extroverted men.
Women are also less likely to go into careers in stem, where there is less human contact (I've heard this justification)

Taking all of this into account, introvertion is more masculine behavior.

I would say feminine since the physical stigmata of female which is her vagina goes inward. And the male stigmata the penis goes outward. So men venture out into the world and explore and conquer and initiate. Where as women are in the home/village raising children and shit. Women internalize things where as men tend to externally deal with life.

I think that's definitely a huge factor. Girls are always included and encouraged to attend any type of social event short of incel meetups. At my school at least, organizers of job/networking functions always try to get as many female students to attend. Not to mention how girls will always be allowed into any party even if they're randos, all frat parties are free for them (they'll even let high underage school girls in), nightclubs/bars offer discounts and free drinks, etc.

neither, but solitude is definetively a masculine trait, most girls cant go 1 week without friends and venting to have stable emotional state, men on the other hand can go lots of time without anyone and be fine

I also notice men are more cold, reserved, calm and collected, where women are more outgoing and expressive in general

just look up the suicide rates in female prisons you will see what im talking about

Definitely masculine.
Being warm, outgoing and gregarious are more feminine traits.

Introversion if you don't know someone introverted well they can give this impression that they always have their guard up and it's intimidating you don't know what they think or what their going to do and the unknown is stress and can create tension, most peoples need to know if your a represent a threat. Introverted are more intimidating if they have the looks to go with it ofc, girls love it even if they say the opposite.

Extraverted are just more suited for this society that's why they have more success and more people's praise them they are good at breaking the ice alleviate this initial tension and its really valuable trait in our current society but i don't think its more masculine trait could be wrong tho.

On my first testosterone cycle I crashed my estrogen to the ground with AIs, when that happened I realized how important estrogen is for social skills and the desire to even talk to people. Zero estrogen made me literally unable to hold normal conversations

Real introversion is masculine because you don't give a shit about what anyone else thinks. U can be a pussy introvert though which renders it all useless

Yeah based on all the responses I believe it depends on the cause of introversion

If you are introverted simply because thats how you are then thats a masculine trait, but If you are introverted because you are shy then thats feminine tbh shyness is kind of a feminine thing

Women and men average out to have the same IQ. The bell curve distribution has more variance for males though. The average woman is smarter than the average man. The smartest man is smarter than the smartest woman. The dumbest man is dumber than the dumbest woman.
