Not necessarily, it could be because of better nutrition and hence optimal cognitive performance. And way too many exceptions to consider it. Einstein was 5'7.5", Stephen Hawking was 5'6-7", Newton was 5'6"

Shortness is a symptom of improper development, but being short does not innately mean that something went wrong with your development.

Being tall doesn't mean you'll be High IQ. But you will be confident, people will trust more in you and you'll be more succesful. So there is a relation beetwen being tall and being perceived as inteligent

I see myself as somewhat intelligent. Even tho I’m only 5´9 but a frikin lot taller than both my parents

The only reason I see is in evolution. Higher iq means more resources for your ancestors, Which makes them slightly taller/stronger than their peers and give them more female attention because of dominance. This over millions of years and here we are tall equals more intelligent in most cases
