Working hard is the intelligence workaround imo. You just need high conscientiousness as a personality trait. Intelligent features will follow depending on your choice of work from then on. You can be average iq and work hard, become a doctor, know all that shit you learned in school and then be defacto considered smart socially.

I think real intelligence isn't something you want necessarily, it goes hand in hand with creativity and an excess amount of information in your head. Which creativity is very rare and is also something you don't necessarily want as you're forced to be novel which highly increases your chances of failure. I also think you're much more prone to mental illnesses & general suffering due to it even if you're not highly neurotic.

maybe I am projecting here because I have high IQ (146 tested at age 15) and currently fucked socially, it did help me with weight loss and I do have above average social understanding and I was able to make money online (generally fixed many issues like having parents who never spend on you or being fat because of shit diet and parents), but currently socially I am kinda fucked, the thing is that normies are pre-programmed to be social and act based on insticits, understanding what happens doesn't always mean that you will behave the best way, however I do try to work on fitting myself the best and in fact try to always mimic normies and I joined here because I understand the importance of looks and that it impacts results (even rn I am just here because of the lockdown)

By the time you get over 140, the amount of people with whom you can meaningfully interact with (which means people within two standard deviations of your own level) drops down to small percentages. That being said, high IQ does correlate with success as far as subjective sense of success goes. High IQ people are successful in whatever they do. having an iq above 130 is probably going to be extremely beneficial as the 4th industrial revolution progresses. many low and medium skilled jobs will likely be automated, obviously, and a large majority of the population could become welfare/subsidy dependent. im not really talking about smv but for material wellbeing and power relations it will become increasingly important unless theres a societal collapse, which wouldnt be good for anyone. also yes being autistic/high inhib/asocial is a death sentence but autism and high iq arent synonymous

changes in children usually revert towards the end of adolescence. ie childrens iq can be significantly effected by environment but as they get to around 17-18 their iq will revert to being within their genetic potential
