is it a bad choice to quit my job

i work as a cashier at a fast food restaurant (the primary customer base is old people) and i just can not fucking do it anymore. i am literally going insane and i think ill kill a customer with a tray if i work another day.

im only 18 and have 3k saved up. am i a retard if i quit this job? i dont plan to neet maxx, only to solve some health issues (caused by this job) and then search for a non customer service position & enter college. is this dumb? i keep having second thoughts

my only worry is that i either will not be able to get a new job, or that i will not be able to find a job that lets me take time off as frequently as this place (theyre very lenient with me requesting time off with no notice)
