Here’s an x-ray
IMG 0200

The red are the wisdom teeth. The blue one is an impacted tooth.
Obviously, I should get the impacted tooth removed, but how does wisdom teeth affect your face?
Like as you can see mine are like sideways they’re impacted so I feel like it should be a good idea to remove them or should I not?
You can’t really see a ton because of a 2D x-ray
It’s not a 3-D x-ray. It’s just a normal dental x-ray.
Anyway, but let me know

I’m 16 tho the dentist said I should get them removed because my teeth are close to my nerve and if I don’t get them removed now it’s gonna be painful later. They are also impacted as you can see
So I’m still debating on what I should do

Then you should do it, it's extremely unlikely to mess with your development anyway

Yeah, that’s common advice but they don’t really hurt
Maybe I should just get my impact tooth removed first like I was planning to and then think about wisdom teeth

Yeah, that’s what the dentist said and I was kind of agreeing with her, but I’m kind of a guy that goes off my own research and like actually goes really in depth to something if something affects my body so I don’t really know much about orthodontics but
I’m kind of still debating if it’s going to cause anything wrong
With my development
Cause as you know orthodontics is extremely
Important for development

if for some reason they erupt early (usually they come out at around 18) then it can cause lower third jaw recession,

your mandible is mostly genetic so you still can get them removed early but i dont see why u should take the risk just wait
