I can prove it myself: I was born in an era where everything was so comfortable, and I ate and drank milk every day when I was young. I am 1.8 meters tall, 20 to 25 cm taller than my parents.

at 17 and im also taller (172cm) than my parents although with severe stress the past 5 years, but it wouldnt mean much if im not good looking according to the bp u feel me?

Assuming that the majority of people on this forum live comfortably in a first-world country, very few people in this day and age suffer from malnutrition severe enough to stunt their growth. Sorry, but epigenetics isn’t sprinting or riding a bicycle with the seat set to the highest setting.

Being 'not malnourished' isn't the same as hitting your genetic ceiling. Most people today are calorie-rich but hormone-poor. Your 'genetic limit' is usually just a byproduct of a low-testosterone lifestyle and shitty micronutrient intake.

issue is most ppl assume that the 90% means if ur dad is 170cm then u HAVE TO be 170cm but in truth the 90% is the outcome of genetic recombination from ur mom and dads genetic material, meaning the other 10% from food and nutrition act as a way to reach what genetic recombination allows you to reach. Sleep and nutrition wont overrun genetics sadly

That’s just textbook survivor bias. Winning the genetic lottery doesn't change the fact that environment dictates expression. Look at North vs. South Korea—exact same DNA, massive height gap. Nutrition isn't about 'growing' past your limit; it's about making sure you don't fall short of it

Science proves the body prioritizes releasing the bulk of HGH during the first deep sleep cycle. You can still bag 80% of that hormone with just 5 hours of sleep. I’d rather use the remaining time to fuel up and eat—it’s way more effective than lying in bed on an empty stomach
