I didn't finish my degree but every semi-good entry-level job i see online requires you to have a degree from a good university. Is it a complete waste of time to apply for these jobs without a degree or good connections? I know a few people who got into companies at a young age through parents, and connections and are now doing quite well without a degree. It seems if you don't have a good degree to set you apart or some sort of connection even basic entry-level roles in companies are impossible to land. What makes it even worse is i'm 30 now so im competing with fresh graduates straight out of universities.

I feel like I'm getting stuck at my dead end up job, all i can think about is offing myself every day leaving work

Delete anything off your resume that makes it obvious how old you are. Delete the year you graduated high school and say "Diploma from ___ HS".

Why didn’t you finish your degree?

You shouldn’t quit something you take up

And meanwhile I have a degree but I can’t get a job because I’ve been out of the market too long doing my degree and then Covid. You can’t win unless you follow the exact standard NT life path.
