about taking showers
i noticed couple times watching american tv shows, cartoons that if a hero didnt shower in the morning he is stinky etc and everyone notices it
or if you didnt shower in 2 weeks you are like a smelly homeless rat encircled by flies

what the hell is that

when i was in school i could not shower for like 6 months in a row and nobody noticed shit, its normal


and now i barely take bath or shower, its like 1 in a year thing. i simply dont need it
of course if you ate ice cream and your face is in it, you better wash your face

It’s an American way of getting ready in the morning. Like eating bacon and eggs in the morning. It’s a common belief if you don’t shower every day or every few days you are dirty. I think the idea comes from American exceptionalism, like if you want to make it big you have to be clean. Personally I shower once every 2 days
