Is it bad I hardly empathise?

Whenever I'm out with my friends and we start talking deep, I don't really empathise.

I noticed this happen since about two years ago but I don't know if it's a bad thing or not. I guess it makes me easier to come to with problems, but I just don't care.

It gets worse with women because if I just want to do shit with them I kinda blank everything they say out and just nod.

Thoughts?
