But also no girl will be into a guy with short hair like she will long if that’s her niche.

So basic style so no girl rejects you for it.

Or loud style so u can get niche girls?

As for the question, well for men it's always good to stand out (in positive way ofc), be memorable. Being good looking or tall is of course one of things that make you stand out, but there are also other things like being well dressed, have good style, smell good etc so in this context being basic, as in not standing out, is not good. If in a room there are few guys on same level, eg. all are 7/10, the guy who stands out the most will be most attractive and instantly bring out woman's attention.
But if you mean polarizing as in being edgy, having controversial style or outfit then it depends but honestly very often such polarizing things are looksmin - like streetwear, big tattoos, wacky haircuts or piercing etc those things might work in their specific niche but hurt your SMV in all other areas
