Is it better going from fat to ripped or skinny to ripped

Im fat and i want to get stronger and leaner, Should i starvemax until i no longer have a double chin and face fat and then work on getting jacked or is it better to start fat so its easier to build muscle. Im worried if i start while im fat my double chin wont go away and i will still look a like a tub of lard.

but will being 150 5’7 still cause loose skin if i starve max
Depends how much u weigh rn, also when ur young u dont really get much loose skin ans for you to get a little bit of loose skin ( or for most people) u gotta loose like 30+ pounds really fast, fasting for a whole 24 hours works good and u wont loose muscle. If you dont eat anything at all only drink water, you will burn pure fat if you dont eat...
Starvemaxxing is retarded, just build muscle and go on a cut. If you starvemaxx the loose skin will haunt you for eternity so will the tits.
