Is it better to do the big tasks first or the easy ones?

If u have a TO DO list, is it better to do the easy tasks at first or the more difficult ones? I suppose the hard ones first cuz they have more priority. If u don’t finish the easy ones then it’s not that bad (school homework etc.)

big tasks if you're short on time and want to prioritise whats important

small tasks if you can't seem to be motivated to do anything. it's like the snowball effect you'll have more drive to do the bigger tasks later on
