Is it better to give people the possibilty of an excuse when u invite them somewhere?

But take a look at this:

Hey dude, wanna go bowling with me this weekend?



And then at this:

Hey dude, we could go bowling this weekend if you have time, if not then its fine we could go some other time.




U would be laying them out an easy excuse on the second one, what is more NT/better?

I'm not sure, both are acceptable.

The second seems a bit ND, but it relieves them of the responsibility if they don't want to go.
