I'm getting my grandma's birth certificate next week which tells me where her parents were born. According to my family members that knew them they were either Polish or Czech.
This is what happens when you build out your entire family tree, you find unexpected stuff. I used to think I was 80% Italian, it turns out I'm only like 15% Italian and 50% french yet those frogs won't give me citizenship, but Poland will.
