is it fine for moisturiser to go near eyes after using retin?

after i use retin a, i wait around 30 mins for it to dry completely. i then moisturise my face however when i moisturise my face i do tend to get moisturiser on my eye area as well as the rest of my face. is this going to cause retin going into my eye area?

Just wipe it off near the eyes, wait for it to dry, put on moisturiser everywhere. Although I just slather all the shit everywhere. Muh fat reserves

Idk but I'm getting some vaseline shipped to put over my eyes and around the mouth area before applying it since that's supposed to help
