Is it good to be considered intimidating?

Used to be really fat and I hated myself so i decided to lose weight, work on my style, and overall just look better. My friends girlfriend used to be more talkative to me and generally friendly but now she seems like she avoids me and like shy around me. Turns out she told my friend i used to be fluffy and nice looking when i was fat but now I look intimidating and unnaproachable because I have rbf and i generally am quiet and/or sit alone and dont talk to randoms. I also got more girls when i was fat but i also talked a lot more. U guys think the reason I get no girls now cus I look intimidating or because I just dont talk as much?
