Is it healthier to burn 500 calories a day then to eat 500 calories less?

Depends on current bodyfat and weight
 
eating less is easier, you don't have to exercise if cutting calories from your daily average intake.

For example you eat 2000 cal a day, just eat 1300 to lose weight fast, dont even need to exercise

If you plan on burning 500 calories daily through cardio alone you're looking at hours of intensive cardio.

...Or you could just eat less.

But I guess through cardio you're at least benefiting your heart.

Yeah but eating 1300 calories is fucking miserable. Lmao, you'd have to eat like a fucking bird and have extremely weak appetite to feel satisfied on that.
 
It doesn't make a huge difference in terms of fat loss, but it would be healthier in theory to burn off 500 calories with activity since having a larger calorie budget makes it easier to avoid nutrient deficiencies.

this, but u also have to make sure, that you aren't burning crazy amounts (especially with super hard cardio like HIIT for example), because you can overtrain then and then your energy levels drop, your motivation drops and everything goes to shit then

you also have to have good recovery

Lowered test levels are a normal part of dieting as a natty, but if your dick is dead, that's a bit much, especially if you're still over 20% bf. Are you getting your essential fats and minerals? Your body needs those to produce test.

This is why it's a good idea to do at least some cardio all the time, even when bulking or maintaining. So you can burn a decent amount of calories through cardio without overtraining when you do diet.

also I wouldn't go under bmr with ur intake (unless you are super heavily overweight), your body will make sure that you feel like shit and also you can have problems like ED (because body thinks it is in survival mode, so it just restricts some body functions, because well, you don't for example need to have your dick working when only think your body wants is to somehow survive)

I'm not talking about fat in general. You don't need a lot of dietary fat, and you should largely avoid it if you want to lose body fat. I'm talking specifically about essential fatty acids. Omega 3 and 6. The one to worry about is omega 3. If you have trouble getting it through the diet, you can get fish oil or flaxseed oil straight from your local grocery or drug store so you can supplement directly. Your body is more than capable of converting carbohydrates into fatty acids, just not the essential ones.

You'll also want a multivitamin to cover most of your mineral and vitamin needs. A cheap generic one will do.
