Is it just me or applying retin a under the eyes makes my under eye area look more hollow?

I don't know if I'm crazy, but this is my personal experience with retin a under the eyes. It gets worse and worse, the more days I continuously apply it. If I stop, it gets back to what it should be.

What do you mean is good? Everywhere else except for under my eyes, retin a does wonders.
