is it just me or do some people never change

like looking back at ppl from my old school and they still nerdy, still on the same type of music

and looking at back at the school i just graduated from, same ppl still trapping, still thugging etc

and look at me, i've changed so many times throughout the years, i've done so much shit, completed so much shit, my mind has changed so many times, my knowledge and vibes never remain static, im convinced im one of the chosen few

From my experience ppl with solid parental backgrounds remain the same

Meanwhile guys like me who had lack of either one or both parents tend to change a lot over time. For better or worse

yeah ppl dont change, extremely rare and usually they do by hitting absolute rock bottom or some extremely traumatic life event
